 · Six-week program for doctoral candidates and recent PhDs (having received PhD within two years of the program start date)

 · Candidates working in any field are encouraged to apply; preference will be given to those using the collections of the American Jewish Historical Society and focusing on 18th and 19th-century topics 

 · $6,000 stipend and up to $1,500 funding for transportation/moving costs for those more than 125 miles from New York City

 · Five-month fellowship for researchers who have completed the PhD within the last six years

 Graduate Student Workshop in Modern Jewish History

 · Three-day workshop for graduate students in Modern European and Modern American Jewish history 

 · Meals and $500 stipend provided
